New Investment Choices

All scheme members, regardless of age, can choose to invest according to the DIS or invest in the two funds under the DIS.

The launch of the DIS brings you more MPF investment choices. You can choose to invest your MPF benefits:

  1. Entirely according to the DIS

  1. Entirely in one or more MPF funds (including in the Core Accumulation Fund, the Age 65 Plus Fund and other funds)

or
  1. In a combination of the DIS and other MPF funds (but note that the availability of this option is subject to the governing rules of the respective schemes; please contact the trustees for details)

Smart Tip

If you choose to invest in the Core Accumulation Fund and/or the Age 65 Plus Fund as standalone investments rather than as part of the DIS, your investment will still benefit from the fee caps. However, the other feature of the DIS, automatic reduction of investment risk according to members’ age, will not apply to your investments.
